How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Againstauthority Remodeling to be treated honestly and fairly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page explains how to make a complaint and what follows. It is a general template, not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Againstauthority Remodeling
- The way we handled your personal information
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we introduced you to
When the Problem Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own quotes, contracts, pricing, work, and customer service. If a remodeling project hits a snag, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record of what was said.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Againstauthority Remodeling cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work, or act on a provider's behalf.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@againstauthority.property and include:
- Your name and the easiest way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Write
We will confirm by email that we received your complaint, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may involve contacting the provider. Afterward, we will tell you what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Not Happy?
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to look again. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For trouble with a contractor, your state or local contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
